The Queensland Road Resident's Association supported several initiatives:

• We are in dialogue with Newlon about Fire Safety and have an online petition which we urge you to sign [June 2020]

• Set up a Neighbourhood Watch for the road

• Have a community gardening project at 1 & 3 Queensland Road

• Liaised with the community team at the Arsenal Hub

• Discussed our buildings' Service Charge with Newlon

• Put together a useful list of contact details and information for residents.

Contacting your local council representatives

We would encourage you to be in contact with Islington Council via the Highbury West Ward Partnership – details of their meetings are online: www.islington.gov.uk/about-the-council/have-your-say/ward-partnerships.
 

The Council's Ward meetings will often discuss local travel, parking, business applications, eco-initiatives and other matters that will affect you. Attendance is open to all residents in Islington. Even if you can't attend, you can read the council's minutes on the page link above.
