Base wall paint colour

Note that the colour given in the Residents Manual is wrong. The correct colour is Dulux trade vinyl matt 17280 99Y R82/029. You can get it mixed at Chris Stevens DIY centre on Holloway Road or the Colour Centre shop (29a Offord Road N1 1EA), near Caledonian Rd. See pics here and here.

How to fix the toilet: part 1

If you have a steady trickle of water into the toilet bowl, it's caused by scale on a rubber sealant ring.

The part you need is Ideal Standard SV93467 Pneumatic Dual Flush Valve (about £30) or just the washer https://tinyurl.com/y3v6oacr. You can buy them online or from the plumbing supplies shop near Drayton Park rail station on the other side of the stadium - they are open early, about 8am and on Saturdays.

For anything else it's best to call one of the plumbers above as it could be structural or something requiring professional sealing.

How to fix the FRIDGE: 

If your fridge isn’t cooling, you can try replacing the thermostat (about £40) before buying an expensive new fridge.

 

Before ordering, check any thermostat fits your model. To check your model number, look for a sticker under the salad drawer.

Tips:

- make sure you always have the power switched off before you touch anything and while the plastic cover to the thermostat is removed.

- Take plenty of pictures of which wires are connected where.
